Aluminum Honeycomb Perforated Soundproofing Panel

Perforated Acoustic Aluminum Honeycomb Panels offer high sound absorption coefficients (above 0.9) and are designed for indoor acoustical solutions. They feature a lightweight, high-strength structure suitable for large formats, with customizable perforation patterns and rates to meet specific acoustic and aesthetic needs. Ideal for use in subways, theaters, broadcasting stations, textile factories, industrial buildings with noise concerns, and sports arenas, these panels provide both functional acoustic control and a modern design aesthetic. Made from 3003H24 or 3004H24 aluminum, with thicknesses ranging from 1.5-3.0mm and standard sizes of 600*1200mm or 1220*2400mm, these panels can be customized to fit any project requirement.

Product Details:

Perforated Acoustic Aluminum Honeycomb Panels are engineered with a “honeycomb sandwich” structure, combining high-strength perforated aluminum sheets with a weather-resistant decorative coating and aluminum honeycomb cores through a high-temperature, high-pressure lamination process. The panels consist of a perforated front panel and a back panel, bonded directly to the aluminum honeycomb core with adhesive, and a layer of acoustic non-woven fabric is applied to the back panel. The honeycomb core’s cells act as barriers to air movement, impeding sound waves and enhancing the sound absorption coefficient (capable of reaching above 0.9). This structure not only improves the panel’s inherent strength but also allows for larger single-panel dimensions, increasing design flexibility. The perforation rate can be varied according to acoustical design requirements, allowing control over the composite structure’s sound absorption within a certain range. This ensures both aesthetic design goals and cost-effectiveness are achieved. The perforation diameter, hole spacing, and perforation rate can be adjusted according to customer requirements, with a maximum perforation rate of <30% and common hole sizes are ∮2.0, ∮2.5, ∮3.0, etc. The back panel perforations match the front, and acoustic materials such as non-woven fabric from Freudenberg are used for optimal sound absorption.
